Data shows that in March, Foton Motor Co., Ltd. sold 67,844 vehicles (including commercial vehicles and
Passenger vehicles), an increase of 22.84% year-on-year; 64,677 vehicles of various types were produced, an increase of 14.25% over the same period last year. In the first quarter of this year, Foton Motors Corporation sold a total of 151,601 vehicles (including commercial vehicles and passenger
Cars), an increase of 31.31% year-on-year; cumulative production of 153,548 vehicles of various types, a year-on-year increase of 25.87%.
In terms of commercial vehicles, in July, Foton Motor Co., Ltd. sold 60055 commercial vehicles of various types, an increase of 13.29% year-on-year. In the first quarter, Foton Motor Co. accumulated a total of 133,434 commercial vehicles, an increase of 20.04% year-on-year.
In terms of engines, in July, Foton Motor sold 33,702 self-produced engines, which represented a year-on-year increase of 14.14%. In the first quarter, it sold 87,750 engines, a year-on-year increase of 26.41%. Among them, Foton sold 22,141 Ao Ling engines, a year-on-year increase of 3.50%; and sold 65,609 Cummins engines, an increase of 36.61% year-on-year.
Second, the points of market production and sales
In January and March, the sales growth of heavy trucks slowed down cumulatively by 55%
In March, Foton Motor Co sold 12042 medium- and heavy-duty trucks (including non-complete vehicles), an increase of 40.61% year-on-year; among them, heavy-duty trucks (including non-integrated vehicles) sold 10,670 vehicles, up 32.61% year-on-year. In the first quarter, Foton Motor Company sold a total of 29,530 medium- and heavy-duty trucks (including incomplete vehicles), an increase of 58.37% year-on-year; among them, 26,895 units of heavy-duty trucks (including non-integrated vehicles) were sold, an increase of 54.84% year-on-year.
Its joint venture company, Foton Daimler Motors, sold 10,698 Auman heavy trucks in March, an increase of 35.42% year-on-year. In the first quarter, Foton Daimler Motors sold a total of 27,095 Auman heavy trucks, an increase of 56.63% year-on-year.
2. Industry-first rhythm Futian light trucks sold 36,000 vehicles in March increased by 91%

From the data, in March, Foton sold 35,763 light trucks, an increase of 5.72% year-on-year; in the first quarter, Foton sold 72,733 light trucks, an increase of 8.45%. Although the growth rate also slowed down from the previous month, but last month, Fukuda light truck sales rose by 91% in March, a net increase of 17,000, from this point of view, Fukuda growth momentum is still very good.
According to data published by Jianghuai Automobile at the end of last week, it sold 21,000 light-duty trucks in March and sold 61,600 units in the first quarter. It seems that Foton Motors is going to take the first pace of the light truck industry in March!
3. Big customers and light passengers continue to grow
Following the positive growth of Futian in February, big passenger sales continued to grow in March. In March, Futian sold 628 large passenger cars, an increase of 15.02% year-on-year; in the first quarter, Futian sold 1,096 large-scale passenger cars, an increase of 15.01% year-on-year.
Its light passenger sales are three consecutive months of year-on-year growth. In March, Foton sold 3,291 light passenger cars, an increase of 13.84% year-on-year; in the first quarter, Foton sold 8,349 light passenger cars, an increase of 13.78% year-on-year.
Although the sales volume of Zhongke declined, the single-month sales and cumulative sales of Foton Bus all increased year-on-year. In March, Foton Motors sold 3,986 buses (including non-integrated vehicles), an increase of 9.36% year-on-year. In the first quarter, Foton Motors sold a total of 9566 buses (including non-completed vehicles), an increase of 9.11% year-on-year.
4. New energy vehicle sales rose 123% in March
In March, Foton Motor Co., Ltd. sold 1,090
New Energy Vehicles, an increase of 122.90% year-on-year. In the first quarter, Foton Motor Co. sold a total of 1,513 new energy vehicles, an increase of 47.47% year-on-year.
5, Cummins Motor sales 65,600 units rose 36.61%
Affected by the increase in sales volume of the company's heavy trucks, light cards, and passenger
Car markets, Foton Cummins engines benefited greatly from it, and sales in March were even better than sales in February. The specific data is that in March, Futian Cummins Engine sales of 24037 units, an increase of 22.33%; the first quarter, Futian Cummins Engine sales of 65609 units, an increase of 36.61%.
